Notice #2:
We have made a modification in materials to the Evader ST slipper clutch that improves the durability and effectiveness of the slipper clutch.
The slipper clutch plate is now hard anodized which greatly increases the durability of the plate. The new version has a dark gray finish while the original version has a bright aluminum finish.
The slipper pad has been updated to a more durable material, which increases the effectiveness of the entire slipper clutch. The new material is identified by the blue color while the original slipper pad is white.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the new blue slipper pads with the old aluminum colored slipper plates. You must use the new slipper clutch pads with the new hard anodized plates.
You will not see any performance difference by using the new gray colored (hard anodized) slipper clutch plates with the older white slipper pads. If you have the new slipper clutch plates we highly recommend that you purchase the new slipper clutch pad to enhance the performance of the slipper clutch.
The stock numbers of the new items is as follows:
- DTXC9322 Slipper Pad (2) Blue
- DTXC9314 Slipper Plate Set Hard Anodized
We will also continue to offer the old slipper pad and plate for a limited time.
